Intelligent Power Reduction

ASTdim NEMA supports up to five independently programmable power reduction periods, allowing lighting output to be precisely adjusted according to traffic conditions, operating schedules, or project requirements.

Each programmable period includes:

Start time
End time
Power level

This intelligent control strategy significantly reduces electricity consumption while maintaining lighting quality, operational safety, and user comfort.

Flexible Configuration

The controller is programmed using a predefined power cycling sequence.

Power reduction parameters can be configured:

Locally using ASTmidi or ASTmicro controllers together with the mobile application.
Remotely via an ASTgsm controller using the web platform.

ASTdim NEMA also features a 230 V AC trigger input for integration with external devices such as motion sensors.

When the trigger input is activated, the controller immediately disables power reduction and restores the luminaire to full light output. Once the trigger signal is removed, the controller automatically returns to the programmed dimming level.
