INTELLIGENT POWER REDUCTION DRIVER AND ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK WITH BULIT – IN GPS IN ONE DEVICE

ASTdim GPS driver is designed for installation in luminaires equipped with ZHAGA socket. ASTdim GPS enables intelligent management of luminaire power over specified periods of time which significantly reduces energy costs while maintaining comfort. ASTdim GPS can also independently switch the luminaire on, at sunset and off at sunrise.

 

The driver is equipped with a GPS module and a real-time clock, so that the power reduction  operate according to the programmed hours even when the night break is set on the line control programmer in the cabinet. Time in the driver is automatically synchronized from the GPS module. ASTdim GPS can also  be programmed as an astronomical clock which will allow for continuous operation of the luminaire (powering the luminaire 24 hours a day). The driver is equipped with two control interfaces: DALI and 1-10V. Up to five power reduction intervals can be entered into the device. Each interval consist of reduction on/off time and power level. ASTdim GPS has a control input to connect other devices, such as a motion sensor, which will return work of the lamp to 100% power. The driver is programmed using the power on/off sequence. Change of reduction intervals can be conducted using ASTmidi drivers with a mobile application next to the lighting cabinet or remotely with the ASTgsm driver using the www interface.
